Ann Davoren is Director of Uillinn: West Cork Arts Centre, Skibbereen, Co. Cork where since 2001, she has worked with many emerging and established Irish and international artists, curators and arts organisations to develop commissions, projects, publications, exhibitions, residencies and symposia.

Two Part Course

This two-part workshop introduces collage through a series of practical exercises, exploring different approaches and starting points for making work.

Participants will be guided through short tasks designed to generate ideas and ways of working across both sessions.

Participants are asked to bring their own materials and to begin collecting images, textures and found elements in advance. A suggested materials list will be provided.

MTU Interior Architects Exhibition

This exhibition marks the third year of a collaborative project between Backwater Artists Group and the MTU Interior Architecture course. As part of the project, second-year students are invited to reimagine the organisation’s Sculpture Block space. The exhibition presents a selection of final design proposals developed through this process.
