As part of her Studio 12 Project Residency, on Saturday the 10th of Feb Orla O’Byrne would like to invite the public to a lunchtime talk. Starting at St Fin Barre’s Cathedral, where they will hear about the extraordinary and unique maquette collection and conservation project. This is a fluid, working exhibition which offers a rare view of these historic objects in their raw, unconserved state. The second part of the talk will happen in Studio 12, which is only 300 metres away. The second part of the talk will be about the residency itself and the work O’Byrne is producing from the process.
