National Drawing Day | Drawing Clinic at Backwater Artist Group
National Drawing Day, Saturday 20th May, 2023.
Join the Backwater Artist Group in association with the Drawing Clinic; artists Meg and Cassandra Eustace, in celebrating National Drawing Day on Saturday 20th May, 2023.
The Drawing Clinic will be exploring the local ecology of the city streets here in Cork, by wandering and drawing. We will explore different drawing methodologies for encountering these familiar spaces. By responding in a sensory and analytical way, we can discover different drawing languages and expand our sense of experience as drawers.
Meet: In the courtyard at the Backwater Artist Studio’s, Wandesford Quay.
- When: 10:30am – 1pm, Saturday 20th May, 2023
- Age group: 16 years and beyond.
- Drawing ability: Basic – Experienced.
- This is a FREE event and all materials will be provided.

Nb. Please dress for the weather on the day as this is an outdoor event. If it is raining we will still go drawing by exploring indoor public spaces.
