Studio 12 Project Residency: Caboodle

A print collective of Backwater Artists Group and Cork Printmakers members based in Cork, working in the field of expanded print using sculpture, performance, installation, drawing and photography. Together their work investigates process-based fields using printmaking as a nexus to expand into different areas. For their residency project “Caboodle”, they are developing a collective body of research that incorporates overlapping research within their individual practices, with a specific interest in ideas around embodied spaces, urban settings, environmental relationships, and architectures of power.

Throughout the residency, the collective has been investigating overlapping research within their practices. Exploring embodied spaces, urban settings, environmental relationships, and architectures of power. Responding to those research elements and sources of inspiration through interactive drawings, sculptures and prints. The residency has been an opportunity for the artists to work collaboratively within a space that allows for spontaneous creation and experimentation.

Studio 12 will be open to the public on Friday the 26th. from 10am until 4pm.

While the studio is open audiences will be able to see the outcome of the residency project and speak to the artists.
