Backwater Artists is thrilled to welcome Aoife Hegarty to the team as our new Programme & Outreach Manager.
Aoife is an art mediator and arts education specialist. Originally from London but now residing in Cork, she has worked with many galleries and museums, engaging the public with art and cultural heritage.
She is finalising her PhD in arts outreach education where she co-developed an intercultural
exchange between Cork and Milan. She is passionate about accessibility and sharing art with the wider community.
