Backwater Artists Group is delighted to launch its 2026 Members’ Artwork Raffle, featuring ten original artworks generously donated by our members, with a combined value of €4,920.
By entering the raffle, you’ll have the chance to take home an original artwork while supporting the artists and creative community that make Cork such a vibrant place to live and work.
For more than 34 years, Backwater Artists Group has provided artists with affordable studio spaces, professional development supports and opportunities to sustain and grow their practices. Your support helps us continue this work, keeping fees affordable and ensuring artists have access to the spaces and resources they need.
At a time when rising living and working costs are placing increasing pressure on artists, your contribution makes a real difference.

How to Enter
If you would prefer assistance in purchasing a ticket, you can also call into the Backwater office Monday – Friday 10 am – 5 pm (closed for lunch 1 – 2 pm).
Raffle Winners
The Raffle draw will take place on Friday 11 December 2026 at 2pm. Winners will be contacted shortly after this time.
How the prizes are allocated
All ten artworks will be raffled. The first prize winner will have first choice of artwork, followed by the second prize winner, and so on, until all ten artworks have been selected.
Collecting your artwork
Winning artworks can be collected from the Backwater Artists Group office from Monday 14 December to Friday 18 December 2026, before we close for the Christmas break. Shipping can also be arranged at the winner’s request, with costs covered by Backwater Artists Group.
