You will learn how to make your own camera, take the photos and develop the prints in the darkroom. Once we have our negatives, we will then cover some methods to create a positive image form our work. At the end of the workshop, we will hang our images on the wall and display our work.
The day will begin at 11am with a with a small introduction, a bit of history and technical demonstrations on the medium. We will cover how to make your own cameras and take our first images. After a short break for lunch, we develop our paper negatives in the darkroom and explore how to contact print the negatives. Finally, we will hang our work in the gallery and have a show and tell of our work and our cameras.
