Lavit Gallery is pleased to present Field Trip, an exhibition of Backwater Artists Group members exploring themes of Landscape and Memory, Magic and Loss. Featuring Deirdre Frost, Angela Gilmour, Sean Hanrahan, Joseph Heffernan, Diane Magee, Susan Montgomery, Róisín O’Sullivan, Ben Reilly, Padraig Spillane, Isabella Szczutkowska. Curated by Kevin Kavanagh and Alannah Murray, Kevin Kavanagh Gallery, Dublin

Backwater Artists Group provides high-quality affordable studios, with security of tenure and access to facilities and developmental support for 90+ visual artists. Established in 1990 by artists for artists, their mission is to support and advocate for visual artists, enabling them to thrive at all stages of their careers. Through their programmes, they provide an essential platform for showcasing contemporary art in Cork and they aim to foster a deep appreciation for the visual arts by connecting and engaging with audiences, in an impactful way. Kevin Kavanagh Gallery is an independent space promoting, facilitating and nurturing artists to exhibit works that are meaningful and contemporary. The gallery is located in Dublin and represents Irish and International artists at home and abroad.
