Applying for Arts Council Funding Workshop

This workshop assists artists with preparing applications to the Arts Council, specifically focusing on the Bursary Award and the Agility Award. The session provides an overview of the funding landscape and policy in Ireland and offers tools to navigate the Arts Council portal, guidelines and form. In addition, it helps present a practitioner’s profile, describe core elements of practice, construct budgets and other feasibility requirements, and organise supporting documentation. The session is also an opportunity to clarify questions and concerns through focused feedback.

The workshop is led by curator Miguel Amado, director of Sirius Arts Centre, who has successfully supported various artists in securing Arts Council funding.
