Mary Conlon and Erika Mei Chua Holum comprise of the curatorial team at The Dock/Leitrim Arts Development CLG, a contemporary arts centre in Carrick-on-Shannon, County Leitrim. Located in a restored 19th-century courthouse overlooking the River Shannon, The Dock operates at the intersection of visual arts, performing arts, and social practice with a focus on a sustainable future in rural communities.

 

Mary Conlon is a curator based in the Northwest of Ireland. She is the Director of The Dock/Leitrim Arts Development CLG and former Artistic Director of Ormston House CLG. Recent curatorial projects (2024–2026) include solo exhibitions by Caline Aoun, Noémie Goudal, Deborah Kelly, Richard Malone, Helen O’Leary, and Pauline Rowan. She is a partner on the multi-year Shared Island project, Farm Walks, in partnership with Leitrim County Council, Leitrim Sustainable Agricultural Group, Ulster Wildlife, and the West Fermanagh Farmers’ Cluster, commissioning joint proposals by artists and farmers. In 2025, she was the chair of the jury for the Leopold Bloom Art Prize in Hungary awarded to Tamás Dezső. She has served on the boards of EVA International and Trans Europe Halles; she is a current board director at Pallas Projects/Studios.

 

Erika Mei Chua Holum is a Filipinx writer and curator based in County Leitrim. She is Curator at The Dock with ongoing research focused on interdisciplinary artistic practice and community organizing efforts that connect global legacies of land and water protectors and cultural survivance. Recent projects include 踩下去! DOWN TO EARTH!, awarded the 2025 TANK Curator Prize from the Shanghai Curator Lab 4 (2025/2026); How to Grow the Cow Pea: Artistic and Ecological Pedagogies in Practice at Visual Art Center at the University of Texas at Austin (2026); solo exhibitions with visual artist and critical geographer Cian Dayrit (2024) and multidisciplinary artist and cultural fire steward Saif Azzuz (2025); and Ecofictions and Understories (2023-24) with the Houston Climate Justice Museum. Each summer, Erika convenes the Sahara Dust Season, an artist collective and residency program active during the temporary and migratory region created by Saharan dust clouds.
