- Exhibition opportunities: Opportunity to apply for all our exhibition opportunities (Studio 12 exhibition programme, The Long Space exhibition programme (1st Floor, Backwater Artists Group) and our annual members group exhibitions (offsite and in house) ). All artists participating in our Studio 12 and offsite programme have access to essential exhibition making supports, including technical, PR and curatorial supports, as well as associated artist and production fees. Artists participating in The Long Space will be provided with an artist’s fee.
- Residency opportunities: BAN 6 month project residency. (Please note this residency is at a rate of €80 per month). Studio 12 Project Residency (Artists will be provided with an artist’s fee for this residency).
- Access to our members meet ups: Meeting are held every 6 weeks (in person and online). Members are given the opportunity to present their work to peers. This is an invaluable professional development opportunity for our members. It enables them to talk about their work and receive feedback in a supportive peer environment. Each evening, 2-3 artists will give a 15 – 20 min presentation of their work. There are also themed evenings where members share their experiences and present on topics relevant to contemporary art practice and development.
