Tomas Feehan is an emerging artist who lives and works out of Cork, Ireland. He graduated with an Honors BA in Fine Art from Crawford College of Art and Design in 2011 and is a participant of the Turps Banana Correspondence Course 2021.
Primarily a painter, his subject matter is intentionally easy to describe, but its meaning often remains enigmatic. Intuitively culling imagery from diverse sources, he works with a variety of media – drawing, collage, print- to develop and create a distinctive artistic vernacular.
Feehan has been the recipient of several awards and grants including the Individual Artist Award 2020, Cork City Council and Agility Grant, Irish Arts Council, 2021. His work has been widely exhibited throughout Ireland.
