“My work examines the stuff of daily life , often within a domestic context. Imagery is used to suggest a storyline and I like to balance the banal with the absurd. Everyday objects – brooms, chairs, soap and dishcloths – are combined with found objects to create mixed media work. Each element takes me on a journey which leads me to newer explorations.”
Éilis Ní Fhaoláin creates mixed media sculpture and drawings which are characterised by a playful approach to ideas .
