Amanda Lynch

Amanda Lynch’s work deals with social and mental aspects of rural Ireland and looking through a personal journey of moving from a rural part of Ireland to an urban setting. Looking at places of abandonment and isolation and comparing it to an area dense in population and opportunity. Her work tells a story of how habituating in a certain place can have a particular affect on someone.

Amanda was awarded the Backwater Studios Graduate Residency Award by CIT Crawford College of Art & Design in 2017.
