Hina Khan
Artist Bio
Hina Khan is a Pakistani-Irish, visual artist based in Kinsale, Cork. She completed her MFA with majors in Miniature Painting from FJWU-Pakistan. She has participated in several solo and group exhibitions in Pakistan and Ireland. Solo exhibitions include Ballina Arts Center, Mayo, The Laois Arthouse, LHQ Gallery, Cork County Hall and Rathfarnham Castle, Dublin. She has been the recipient of several residencies including Fire Station Arts Studios, Create Ireland, West Cork Arts Center, Meta Open Arts (Facebook) and Cow House Studio.
She has been commissioned to make work for The Dock (2023), Smashing Times (2019 – 2024) and Facebook (2022-2023). Her work is in many permanent collections, including the Arts Council Ireland. She is the recipient of awards from Arts Council Ireland and Create Ireland. Currently, she is preparing solo show will be displayed in Ballina Art Centre in April 2025.
