‘My approach to material is very playful, creating structures using accessible everyday materials such as cardboard, which give off a wonky charm reminiscent of playing with boxes during childhood. Structures are built around the theme of a specific collective eating experience. Food, as a material, is used as a tool to physically and socially engage the participant whilst also being the conceptual thematic of the work by looking at certain aspects of how we, as humans, interact with food.’
